PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The ACE Early Learning Program  is committed to providing opportunities for its staff to participate in professional development in such areas as early learning and kindergarten standards, assessments, curricula, and culturally and linguistically responsive strategies, support  to help build parents’ capacity to support their children’s learning and development, and engage parents as decision-makers in their children’s education. Training opportunities include but are not limited to, providing CDA, CLASS and PAT training, mentor/coaching, focused discussions, reflective supervision, on-site workshops and presentations and expert consultation.  Training and technical assistance funds are available for to give staff an opportunity to take higher education courses relevant to their job description. All staff must annually complete child abuse reporting training and civil rights training. Staff must bi-annually renew first aide and CPR training
